Ronald L. Sherman, D.P.M, M.B.A., is a Clinical Instructor and part-time Faculty Member in the Department of Orthopedics at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Dr. Sherman also holds an appointment as Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Maryland Medical System. In addition, he currently serves as the Director of Podiatric Medical Education and Chief of the Podiatry Division at Mercy Medical Center. He has been practicing podiatric medicine and surgery for the past twenty five years in downtown Baltimore. Dr. Sherman received his Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine in 1982 and completed his Masters in Business Administration with Honors specializing in Health Care Management from the University of Baltimore in 2000. He is Board Certified in Foot and Ankle Surgery from the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. Previously, for a decade, he served as both an Oral Examiner for the Annual National Board Certification Examination given by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and an active member on its Credentials Committee responsible for reviewing case documentation submitted by candidates wishing to sit for the examination.
